Congratulations to Dr. Miller! Her article “Ectoparasite borings, mesoparasite borings, and scavenging traces in early Miocene turtle and tortoise shell: Moghra Formation, Wadi Moghra, Egypt” was published in the Journal of Paleontology.

Front part of podocnemid plastron, DPC 7401, preserving the left and right epiplastra, the entoplastron, the right hyoplastron, and part of the left hyoplastron. Inset sketches at bottom left show the distribution of dermal bones and the location of overlying epidermal scutes (not preserved).
